"Thank you Vulla.  I’m here once again with Karli Winata in his bedroom.  He has finally confirmed the status of his possible internship with 1UP.com.  Karli, let’s get straight to the point.  Did you or did you not get the internship?"

"As I have suspected in the past two weeks, no Tim I did not get the internship."

"Did you finally received an e-mail from Sam Kennedy?"

"Actually no.  I found out through his blog.  You see, his latest blog mentioned the fact that they had indeed found someone to fill in the position, and since I didn’t hear anything from them, It’s safe to assume that I didn’t get the job."

"I’m sorry to hear that Karli.  Any idea why he never returned your e-mails?"

"I have a pretty good idea.  The same blog I read also mentioned the fact that they were swamped with new content to push on their site.  After taking one glance at their front page, I believed him."

"Are you glad to finally have some kind of confirmation about the internship?"

"Yes I am.  For the past 2 weeks, I was in major denial.  I kept on holding hope that maybe they were so busy that they haven’t made a decision yet, but I’ve always known that that was just foolish.  Still, I held on to that one sliver of hope.  Now I can finally move on."

"Did you just find out about this today?"

"Actually I found out last Thursday."

"Really.  Why did you take so long to call us?"

"Like I said before.  I’ve been working 11 days straight on that day.  When I got home, all I wanted to do was eat, sleep, and play Final Fantasy XII.  Not only that, my Xbox 360 came back from the repair center on my Birthday!  I’ve missed that stupid white box while it was gone.  I wanted to play some more on top of my Final Fantasy XII time.  I simply did not have the time.  I desperately needed the sleep."

"Well that’s ok then.  Anyways, I’m sorry about the internship falling through."

"Thank you Tim."

"Well Karli, it’s been a tumultuous ride waiting for their response, but today we’ll have to make our farewells.  Thank you for letting us have such an in depth look into your experience with this wonderful opportunity.  I hope you’ll have another shot at it."

     No really!  I’m really, really, really sorry that I haven’t updated my blog for the past what, 5 days now.  With the fact tha my weekend turned out to be an extended wednesday and Final Fantasy XII finally released, I’ve had absolutely no time whatsoever to blog.  The next blog you’ll get is this Sunday when I FINALLY get a day off.

     I’m guessing that some of you are wondering about the hat in the last picture.  It’s actually a garlic hat.  I got it from the Garlic festival up in…that…place… I forgot where.  My sister and I agreed to wear it on our birthdays.  As for where the picture was taken.  It was taken in my room.  You see that picture of a lighthouse in the upper left corner?  I reallized that there’s a story attached to that picture which made me realized that my room is full of stuff with a nice story.  One day…I’ll make a theme month out of it.  Anyways, I’m gonna get back to FF XII.  See you Sunday.
